Lloyds Acceptance of NMEA2000 Print E-mail

Lloyd's Register EMEA has accepted the NMEA 2000® Standard as an acceptable National Standard for compliance with their Rules. In addition Lloyd's Register EMEA has accepted the NMEA 2000® physical cable and connector system.

 

NMEA 2000® has also been accepted by the International ElectroTechnical Commission (IEC) in the IEC standard 61162-3.

Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show - Follow Up Print E-mail

Thanks to everyone that came by our booth at the Ft. Lauderdale show!  We would like to extend a special thank you to Calixas Yachts for allowing us the opportunity to bring clients aboard their new 105 debuted at the show this year.

 

The Calixas 105 has a comprehensive FT NavVision system onboard monitoring: security (hatches/doors), bilges, fire, engines, generators and AC/DC systems.

M/V Quiet Storm - Monitoring System Print E-mail

HMi Technologies is pleased to announce the successful seatrial of the M/V Quiet Storm.

 

The Nordlund 61, "Quiet Storm" recieved an extensive eight month refit and repower at Park Isle Marine, including new Cummins QSM11 main engines and Norther Lights generators.  To meet the owners requirement for an updated bridge, HMi Technologies developed and installed an FT Nav Monitoring System that integrates vessel information into a set of dual LCD displays.
